The annual National Awards of Excellence were presented in a ceremony today (June 16) to celebrate Taiwan's top products. GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY's N203 Notebook and GN-A17GU Dual-band Upgradeable Access Point received the 13th annual Taiwan Symbol of Excellence, and were among the products that have earned GIGABYTE the unprecedented accomplishment of 100% success rate for products submitted to the Taiwan Symbol of Excellence competition for eight consecutive years. Even more impressive, is that this is the fourth year that GIGABYTE's products have been honored with the National Award of Excellence. These accomplishments are unmatched in the IT industry. Executive Vice President Richard Ma represented GIGABYTE in accepting the two National Awards of Excellence. According to remarks from the organizer, the N203 Notebook was singled out for top marks because it is lightweight, but yet possesses comprehensive functions and convenient input/output ports. GN-A17GU Dual-band Upgradeable Access Point is the only product of its kind on the market with the upgradeable and functionality. Depending on the real needs of the user it can be upgraded easily and inexpensively by installing a wireless LAN card to increase wireless bandwidth and avoid blockages in Internet access. This model comes with AP Manager software developed by GIGABYTE. This software can be installed into a computer for easy and remote monitoring and maintenance of all GIGABYTE AP products in the same network. In addition, the GN-A17GU can be hung on a wall or placed upright or flat on a desk, to suit the environment or the user's individual style.
