In these models, each node supports dual Intel Xeon processors E5-2600 v4 and the system level incorporates redundant power supply units with quadruple fans.

GIGABYTE has taken the design to the next level with key features including;


Centralized Server Management

As part of the core design, GIGABYTE has enabled 'Central Management Console' (CMC) functionality to allow centralized control of all nodes in each rack through one connection to the switch. This also means a reduction in wires and associated operational costs.

'Daisy Chain' Function

As an extension of this, the rack switch only requires two ports which feed into a ‘daisy chain’ across nodes. This allows for more economical switches (and wires!)


Direct Board Connection
The Direct Board Connection also allows better accessibility and lower temperatures in the rack. An Interposer allows the removal of the internal cable connecting the power supply.
(NB. This feature is specific to these two SKUs.)
