Windows® XP Support List
The long-awaited Microsoft® operating system, Windows® XP, has been officially launched in the end of Oct. 2001. In order to ensure Gigabyte users keep pace with new technology, a series of rigorous tests have been done towards the currently available Gigabyte motherboards to make sure all of them will support Windows XP successfully.
Generally, for the motherboards with Windows® 2000 capability are able to support Windows® XP. A latest BIOS and driver update are required in order to run Windows® XP stably.
Following is the list of Gigabyte motherboards currently has been validated to support Windows® XP. We will continue to update the information by doing rigorous tests towards the other models.

Caution!!
If your system still can't be shut down after updating new BIOS for WinXP. Please reinstall WinXP to solve the problem.
