Not having display output with latest nVidia 4000-series graphics cards
A: If you are not able to have a display output from the brand-new purchased system components (motherboards in specific), please find below suggested resolution steps:

1. Temporarily move your monitor’s display signal source to the motherboard side. Seek for graphics cards’ product page for firmware update and follow suppliers’ update instructions.
2. Move your display signal source back to the nVidia 4000-series graphics.
 
3. Alternate resolution step is to Enable the CSM support inside system BIOS, however, for optimal OS security and compatibility concerns this step is not recommended.
3.a Seek for graphics cards’ product page for firmware update and follow suppliers’ update instructions.
Please note if you would like to Disable CSM support in the future with OS installed. OS will not be able to load, and a complete re-installation is required.
 
B: If you are upgrading the existing graphics card to nVidia 4000-series, please find below suggested resolution steps
1. Having nVidia graphics card in the system:
1.a Perform GeForce Experience and update to the latest nVidia 4000-series supported driver.
1.b Exchange your newly purchased nVidia 4000-series graphics card to the system.
1.c Seek for graphics cards’ product page for firmware update and follow suppliers’ update instructions.

2. Having AMD graphics card in the system:
2.a Temporarily move your monitor’s display signal source to the motherboard side.
2.b Exchange your newly purchased nVidia 4000-series graphics card to the system.
2.c Seek for graphics cards’ product page for firmware update and follow suppliers’ update instructions.
2.d Move your display signal source back to the nVidia 4000-series graphics.
