GIGABYTE to Showcase Latest NVIDIA GPU Server Platforms at GTC 2018
Mar 27, 2018

Taipei, Taiwan, 27 March 2018 - GIGABYTE is excited to be attending this year’s GTC (GPU Technology Conference) in San Jose to showcase our latest server platforms that support NVIDIA Tesla GPU accelerators for HPC, deep learning, inference and virtualization applications.

The GTC is organized annually by NVIDIA, and features more than 500 hours of presentations, training and workshops held by leaders from the world’s largest tech companies as well as from the most innovative start-ups.

GIGABYTE will be exhibiting its wide range of NVIDIA-qualified GPU server platforms at the Conference. A highlight will be the reveal of our upcoming performance optimized 4U systems that accommodate 10 x GPU accelerators via PCIe or 8 via SXM2 with NVIDIA’s NVLINK interconnection technology, delivering maximum acceleration to power machine intelligence and deep learning applications. We will also feature our industry leading G291-280, a 2U system that accommodates 8 x GPU accelerators via PCIe.

In addition to these standalone systems, we will also showcase an example of our OCP-compliant RACKLUTION system, a mini-rack featuring several different GPU server trays that can support up to 4 GPU accelerators. Each tray is based on either Intel Xeon Scalable CPU architecture (including models supporting GPU connection via PCIe or with NVLINK interconnection), AMD EPYC CPU architecture or Qualcomm ARM CPU architecture. A mini-rack incorporating GPU server trays is a powerful edge-computing solution for heavy multimedia processing requirements in tomorrow’s 5G telecommunications base stations.

GIGABYTE will be looking forward to meeting with all GTC attendees and discussing what server solutions we can provide to meet their requirements. We will be located at booth #303 during the following exhibit hours:

Tuesday 27th March 11:00am – 1:00pm, 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Wednesday 28th March 11:00am – 1:00pm, 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Thursday 12:00pm – 2:00pm
