When most people purchase an OLED monitor, they expect vibrant colors, infinite contrast, and void-like black, which GIGABYTE understands and delivers with its range of OLED monitors. With more games and streaming platforms offering native HDR content, GIGABYTE saw the importance of quality HDR picture tuning – Introducing three experts calibrated HDR picture modes - HDR Movie, HDR Gaming, and HDR Vivid. All modes are specially tailored to the type of content the user is currently viewing, enhancing the contrast and color saturation in accordance with the type of content the monitor is currently displaying, giving users richer and more immersive viewing experiences.

For SDR content, GIGABYTE offers AI picture mode to automatically adjust brightness, contrast, and saturation to maximize content immersion. No matter what kind of content the user is viewing, GIGABYTE will always have a specially tuned picture mode for the matching content, giving you the best-in-class experience across our OLED lineups.

However, a common challenge across many OLED monitors is that images appear overly dark in HDR peak brightness modes due to APL limitations. GIGABYTE resolves this with HyperNits, a smart tuning feature leveraging a unique algorithm to intelligently reshape the EOTF curve. HyperNits boosts brightness by up to 30% while preserving critical highlight detail. Users can choose between HyperNits High for maximum brightness enhancement or HyperNits Medium for a gentle 20% lift in darker environments.

HyperNits High is the default mode, for the full 30% brightness boost with maximum detail retention.

The result is a deeper contrast, greater clarity, and far more impactful HDR - Whether you’re watching movies or playing RTX HDR titles.

While there is increasingly more native HDR content being provided, most of the documents, webpages, and videos we watch daily, as well as some of the games we play still run in SDR, and GIGABYTE did not forget about that either. To improve SDR experience, we introduce AI Picture Mode. It is trained using a large database to intelligently recognize what type of content users are currently displaying and automatically apply the best display mode for the corresponding content type.

When users are working, the monitor automatically switches to Reader Mode, reducing brightness and blue light to help minimize eye strain. When watching movies, the image becomes sharper and more detailed; combined with Super Resolution, Movie Mode delivers a truly cinema-like viewing experience.

For gaming, FPS Mode automatically enables AI Black Equalizer, increasing visibility in dark scenes and giving players a competitive edge. In Racing Mode, brightness, contrast, and saturation are enhanced to maximize immersion and deliver a more dynamic sense of speed.

Under sRGB Mode, our monitors deliver class-leading color accuracy for content creation and everyday use. And that’s not all—AI Picture Mode offers over 10 optimized presets, including modes tuned specifically for certain game titles.
