GIGABYTE ‘A75 OC Challenge’ Prize Winners Revealed
Quest to Find the Best Overclocker on AMD A-Series APUs Concludes

Taipei, Taiwan, September 9, 2011 – GIGABYTE TECHNOLGY Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards, today announce the winners of the GIGABYTE A75 OC Challenge, a month long contest hosted on HWBOT.org, where contestants were asked to put their overclocking skills to task on any GIGABYTE A75 platform motherboard.
 
The GIGABYTE A75 OC Challenge contest ran throughout August and spanned five unique stages, each individually tailored to put AMD’s new ‘Llano’ APUs to the test with special focus on squeezing every last ounce of performance from their integrated AMD HD 6000 series graphics cores. No discrete VGA cards were permitted.

As first place winner, El Gappo takes home a GIGABYTE 990FX-UD5 motherboard. Second and third place winners will each receive a GIGABYTE E350N-USB3 motherboard.
