The new Intel Xeon 6+ processors support up to 12 channel 8000 MT/s DDR5 RDIMMs and up to 288 cores per socket, making it the highest core density server CPU that Intel has delivered. It supports Intel Safeguard Extensions (Intel SGX), Intel Trust Domain Extensions (Intel TDX), and crypto algorithm acceleration for stronger workload isolation, as well as Intel Application Energy Telemetry for per-workload energy visibility. The result is a processor designed to deliver more compute per rack, lower power consumption, and improved security, all on a single platform.
Intel Xeon 6+ is purpose-built for scale-out, throughput-oriented workloads where core density and power efficiency matter most. The new E-core variants of the Intel Xeon processor share drop-in compatibility with their P-core counterparts, allowing for an easy update when more efficient compute is required. GIGABYTE has a wide lineup of server platforms that support Intel Xeon 6+ series processors, including H-series, B-series, G-series, and R-series servers. With a BIOS update, existing GIGABYTE servers for the Intel Xeon 6900-series servers will support the new Intel Xeon 6+ processor.
