GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY presents the new Neon Cooler 775 and Neon Cooler 8 Series of CPU fansinks that target discerning PC gamers who are looking for exciting visual effects combined with maximum thermal dissipation and quiet operation under extreme conditions. The new coolers build on the extensive feature set of the GIGABYTE Neon Cooler 7 series and introduce support for AMD-based Socket 939 & Socket 754 systems from the Neon Cooler 8 Series and Intel-based LGA 775 systems from the Neon Cooler 775 Series.

Both series of coolers are available in a BL (standard) SKU or a Pro version that is distinguished by a fan speed controller. With the Pro versions, noise levels can be drastically reduced by manually reducing the speed of the fan with an easy to use rotating dial. The Cooler 775 - Pro is compatible with both Voltage Regulation (VR) and Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) on supporting motherboards. With their outstanding heat dissipation capabilities, the new coolers are ideal for LAN gaming events where participants overclock their rigs to the absolute maximum. Deriving their name from brilliant blue LEDs that light up the fan, GIGABYTE Neon coolers are the logical choice for creative case mods that show off the guts of the system through transparent side panels.

Designed for Maximum Cooling GIGABYTE Neon Cooler 775 Series:
  • An extended fin profile provides more surface area for efficient heat dissipation from the CPU core while the incredibly quiet, oversized fan draws hot air away from the components into the air currents created by the system exhaust fans.
  • The large 11cm fan with its unique air duct design increases airflow via its multi-directional intake, further enhancing heat dissipation.
GIGABYTE Neon Cooler 8 Series:
  • Utilizing copper insertion technology, the copper base of the cooler absorbs heat from the CPU core and transfers it to the external block where it is removed from the aluminum fins by the large fan.
  • Heat dissipation is further enhanced by the cooler’s spacious design that takes advantage of the multi-directional intakes of the 9cm fan.
Quiet Operation

Both new series of GIGABYTE Neon Coolers employ a unique fan duct design to significantly reduce noise levels by drawing air from all directions simultaneously to reduce air turbulence. Additionally, through copper insertion technology, they are able to conduct heat away from the CPU core more efficiently, thereby requiring less active cooling, allowing for slower and quieter fans. Vicinity Cooling Through its omni directional action, the large fan cools not only the CPU, but also other components in the immediate area, helping to reduce total cooling requirements and enhancing system reliability. Eye Catching Aesthetics With its transparent blue fan frame and no less than 4 embedded LEDs, the new Neon Cooler Series compliments the aesthetics of any self-respecting gaming rig. Adjustable Speed The star feature on the Pro versions of both new Neon Coolers is the fan speed control module that can be placed in any free PCI slot at the back of the case or alternatively be specially modded into a convenient spot on the front (or elsewhere) of the system. With its support for both PWM and VR modes, the Neon Cooler 775-Pro can automatically adjust its speed as controlled by sensors within the case or allow the user to manually tone it up or down by turning the rotating dial.
