GIGABYTE Unveils Innovation Ingenuity at Computex 2009

In this year’s unveiling at Computex 2009 from June the 2nd to June the 6th, will be line-ups from GIGABYTE notebooks from TouchNote series, the T1028 sporting touch and swivel-to-tablet, with tweaks that accommodate the likes of Intel’s Atom N280, flirting new resolution options at 1366x768. Myou series racks up a S1024 to contend in the ultra thin segment, and CULV segments see in a new member at 13.3 inches, the M1305, which carries forth the previous success of the Booktop series of the M1022 with its signature mobile-to-dock, all at the ready and part of this year’s Computex array.

Booktop M1022 & M1305
The new creative design of 10.1-inch Booktop M1022 features a proficient docking making it “stand out” and a real crowd pleaser. Thanks to the fabulous docking, it adds sophistication to the M1022 enabling it act as both a notebook and a desktop, while also offering connectivity ports including USB, LAN and VGA which allow you to connect external displays as well as other external peripherals. Being placed neatly upright, just like a book on a desk, the M1022 perfectly fits in as a graceful showpiece at home. Its 92% full-scale keyboard with 17.5 mm key pitch definitely delivers a comfortable typing experience. The M1022 is powered by a six-cell battery that provides up to 7.5 hours of use, supports the 3.5G HSDPA module or optional WiMAX for users to enjoy the fun of pure mobile networking. Moreover, M1022 equips with GIGABYTE’s exclusive “Smart Manager” software, a user interface control manager that manages your notebook driven by a hot-key. The Booktop M1022 is your absolute all-rounder. Booktop extends it range to include the Booktop M1305, first release at Computex. Built on Intel’s latest CULV platform, this 13.3-inch notebook features ultra low voltage, power-saving but high computing performance. Extending M1022’s proficient docking design, M1305 has highlights of thinner and ultra portable features. It’s a CULV with sophistication and sense.



TouchNote T1028
The 10.1-inch TouchNote T1028 epitomized the ideal tablet PC with swivel touch screen that delivers multiple application modes for convenience. T1028 is powered by Intel Atom processor with two model options: The T1028X adopts Intel Atom N280 processor with a 1366x768 panel resolution; The T1028M features the Intel Atom N270 processor with a 1024x600 panel resolution. They are both coupled with a 92% full-scale keyboard with premium quality together with mobile features like 802.11 a/b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5G HSDPA module and WiMAX compatibility. A thoughtful battery check design lets you easily check battery status in offline-mode. Its touchpad also supports multi-touch function, allowing you to exploit touchpad usages. Like the M1022, the T1028 is also bundled with “Smart Manager,” a user interface consolidates different system programs into one single intuitive guiding page, which makes personal setting just a click away.

Myou S1024
The eye-catching aesthetics of the 10.1-inch Myou S1024 makes it a super contender in the second half year of 2009. Its mere 900g weight puts this super featherweight in a class of its own, and at a consistent thickness of just 2cm, it’s certain to be the choice of sensible ultra-mobile users.
