Intel® Chipset Device Software INF Utility Advisory

Summary: A potential security vulnerability in Intel® Chipset Device Software INF Utility may allow denial of service. Intel is releasing software updates to mitigate this potential vulnerability.

Description: Improper access control in the installer for Intel(R) Chipset Device Software INF Utility before version 10.1.18088.8158 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via local access

Affected Products: Intel® Chipset Device Software INF Utility before version 10.1.18088.8158.

Recommendations: Intel recommends that users of Intel® Chipset Device Software INF Utility update to version 10.1.18088.8158 or later.
