June 11th, 2026 - Giga Computing, a subsidiary of GIGABYTE and an industry leader in high-performance servers, server motherboards, and workstations, today announced it is integrating Broadcom storage adapters into its advanced server lineup. This deployment accelerates and secures AI inference workloads from the data center to the edge by optimizing data throughput.
As Agentic AI adoption accelerates, enterprises need infrastructure that can quickly and reliably provide data to accelerators, whether in the data center or at the edge. To address this need, Giga Computing is pairing its high-performance compute platforms with Broadcom's enterprise-grade storage acceleration.
This announcement follows a highly successful showing at this year’s Computex exhibition. At the event, Giga Computing showcased the new G494-SB0 and R143-EG2 systems alongside the featured MegaRAID and HBA adapters, demonstrating powerful, real-world hardware synergy for next-generation workloads.
For data center deployments, the Giga Computing G494-SB0 AI server pairs with the MegaRAID 9760W-32i adapter to keep GPUs fed with data through PCIe Gen5 connectivity and enterprise-grade RAID protection. This combination accelerates model loading, vector database access, and inference data processing while safeguarding critical data against failures.
For distributed and edge AI applications, the compact R143-EG2 edge server integrates the 9700W-32i HBA to deliver fast local storage where bandwidth and footprint are constraints. The hardware pairing secures model assets and inference data onsite, helping edge deployments maintain performance across distributed AI workloads.
Together, these validated platform combinations address a growing market need for AI infrastructure that balances compute performance, storage efficiency, and operational resilience. From large-scale inference clusters to intelligent edge deployments, customers can benefit from faster data access, reduced infrastructure bottlenecks, and stronger local data protection.
“Broadcom is pleased that Giga Computing is committed to addressing the accelerated storage demands of the AI ecosystem. Our storage adapters, featuring ROC-integrated cache for enhanced AI traffic performance and tri-mode connectivity in a high-density, low-profile form factor, complement Giga Computing’s AI servers, which deliver the critical capabilities required for next-generation AI data centers,” said Syed (Zee) Shirazi, vice president of global marketing and product management, Data Center Solutions Group, Broadcom.
“AI inference performance is limited by data movement as much as it is by compute,” said Vincent Wang, Global Sales VP of Giga Computing. “Our collaboration with Broadcom reflects our commitment to delivering integrated solutions that help customers deploy AI faster, more securely, and more efficiently.”
Through continued ecosystem collaboration, Giga Computing demonstrates its dedication to providing cutting-edge enterprise technology built for the evolving demands of modern data centers. Through continued research and development, Giga Computing empowers researchers, engineers, and IT decision makers with the tools to push performance and drive innovation.
