The system hangs while resuming form standby mode.
The problem observed while the USB mouse connected, to avoid the problem, please DO NOT install the Windows XP hotfix 822603. If the hotfix already installed, follow the below steps to remove the hotfix:
Step 1: Select ''Add or Remove Programs'' in Control Panel.
Step 2: Remove the ''Windows XP Hotfix – KB822603'' item.
If you cannot or don't want to uninstall the hotfix, you can also disable the resume by USB mouse function by below steps:
Step 1: Select the ''Properties'' via right click ''My Computer''.
Step 2: Enter ''Device Manager'' shell in the Hardware sheet.
Step 3: Enter mouse properties via double click ''HID-compliant mouse'' in ''Mice and other pointing devices'' item.
Step 4: Uncheck the box of the ''Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby'' item in the Power Management sheet.
