A X399 Designare EX não é uma placa muito diferente da X399 Gaming 7 no que elas oferecem em tecnologia, porém fica evidente que o visual busca conquistar públicos diferentes, além de algumas tecnologias, como por exemplo o fato da Designare EX ter adotado dois chips de rede Intel, já a Gaming 7 traz um Killer, que sempre procurou se mostrar um diferencial para gamers, mesmo que na pratica não faça grande diferença. Enfim, são placas muito parecidas no que entregam, porem com visual diferente.
