Can I use Optical drive or build RAID 0 on GSATA ports?
According to the chipset specification of GSATA2 (Sili5723), it does not support SATA optical drives. Therefore, if you want to install SATA optical drives, please use Intel SATA ports instead.

Secondly, in order to make sure we can enhance Smart Backup function well, GSATA2 ports can only support RAID 1 feature but no RAID 0. Smart Backup provides you the easiest way to build RAID 1: when you connected two equal capacities of hard drives in the GSATA2 port, it will enabled the Smart Backup function and backup the data automatically from the first hard drive to the second hard drive in the operating system.
