I am currently using Windows XP, when trying to install drivers why does the system ask me to install either Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2 first?
When using Windows XP, some system driver or software will require Service Pack to function properly. In some cases the .NET service platform will need Service Pack updates. For example: USB2.0, HD Audio, ATI Control center. If you are asked to update or install Service Pack while working on your system, please use Windows Updates or kindly contact Microsoft for the necessary updates.
