I have installed four SATA HDDs on GSATA ports, but only two of them are detected under OS. How do I operate these HDDs seprately?
GSATA ports provides Smart Backup feature, HDDs can work separately or work in RAID modes. Please refer to below information of setup process.
  1. If you need to operate HDDs separately, please refer to user's manual, to enter "BIOS\ Integrated Peripherals", to make sure [Smart Backup Config] stay at default value [Normal (Port Multiplier)], and then to install GIGABYTE SATA2 RAID Driver under OS.
  2. If you need to operate HDDs by using Smart Backup feature, please refer to user's manual, to enter "BIOS\ Integrated Peripherals", to set [Smart Backup Config] as [RAID modes], and then to install GIGABYTE SATA2 RAID Driver under OS.
