GIGABYTE Announces ‘Pi is Returned’ Contest Winners

AMD World Records Smashed, $5,000 Dollars in Prize Money Claimed

Taipei, Taiwan, September 25, 2013 – GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards, today announced the conclusion of its latest overclocking contest at HWBOT.org, ‘Pi is Returned’. Running from August 16^th until September 16^th 2013, all HWBOT members were invited to pit their overclocking skills against each other using the classic SuperPi benchmark.

Several cash prizes totaling $5,000 were on offer as well as GIGABYTE and AMD hardware. In addition to cash prizes for first and second place finishes, ‘Pi is Returned’ also offered $500 for world record breaking submissions for each stage.
