GIGABYTE Announces ‘Pi is Returned’ Contest Winners
AMD World Records Smashed, $5,000 Dollars in Prize Money Claimed

Taipei, Taiwan, September 25, 2013 – GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards, today announced the conclusion of its latest overclocking contest at HWBOT.org, ‘Pi is Returned’. Running from August 16th until September 16th 2013, all HWBOT members were invited to pit their overclocking skills against each other using the classic SuperPi benchmark.
 
Several cash prizes totaling $5,000 were on offer as well as GIGABYTE and AMD hardware. In addition to cash prizes for first and second place finishes, ‘Pi is Returned’ also offered $500 for world record breaking submissions for each stage.
