With flexible connectivity, BRIX™ works as the core of a POS (Point Of Sale) machine through 2 HDMI outputs and built-in standard serial port (COM).
    Comparing a traditional PC to BRIX™, what’s the key difference?
    BRIX™ works as traditional PCs that don’t take up any desk space. BRIX™ is also greener. Traditional PC takes at least 300-450W power supply, but for BRIX™, we use only 40W to 180W (with NV graphics card). The low power consumption can save you a lot on your electricity bill.
    Is BRIX™ upgradable? How does it work?
    This year, GIGABYTE launched the latest BRIX™ with Intel 10th gen. processor and for the first time offered an ‘upgrade’ kit for it. BRIX™ originally loaded equips with one gigabit Ethernet and one serial port. With the new upgrade kit, you can optimize BRIX™ with two Giga-bit Ethernet and two serial ports.
    What type of processor is inside of BRIX™? Can I change the CPU later on?
    All BRIX™ use SOC (System On Chip) type CPU. The benefit of SOC is low power consumption and low heat. We offer both Intel and AMD (coming soon) platforms. We solder the SOC processor on the system board, so there is no upgrade option for processors.
