Taipei, Taiwan - July 31, 2007 - In Taiwan Top 20 Global Brand recognition ceremony in July 26, GIGABYTE was ranked Top 20 Global Brands by brand value according to the brand valuation project conducted by Interbrand for the 4th consecutive year.

Taiwan Global Brands is a project in its 5th year to provide top Taiwanese brands quantified values and strength adopting Interbrand's proprietary brand valuation method. The same methodology has also been used by Business Week Magazine to qualify the known Top 100 Global Brands.

This brand assessment process has included three major parts including Financial Analysis, Demand Analysis and Brand Strength Analysis to pinpoint the status of top Taiwan Global Brands in the scale of world markets.

- Financial Analysis: forecast the revenue to be generated in the following 5 years attributed to the brand.
- Demand Analysis: identify the position of the brand in the minds of customers and expressed as the Role of Brand Index (RBI).
- Brand Strength Analysis: measure the risk of a brand compared with its competitors with the result in the form of Brand Strength Score (BSS).
